Laguna Niguel Lake is a 44 acre lake located within Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Thousands of pounds of Beautiful Rainbow Trout are stocked every week starting mid November. All of our Rainbow Trout are trucked in from Utah. A total of 44,000 pounds of beautiful Rainbow Trout are stocked throughout the winter season. Our trout average 2-5lb in size, with thousands of pounds of trophy trout in the 6-15+ lbs class. Our Rainbow Trout are known for the beautiful colors of pink, blue, reds and purples, pink tasty flesh, hard fight and go tend to go airborne when hooked.

Summer Season: June – October
Laguna Niguel Lake sports a variety of fun to catch fish during the summer months including black & white crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, & large mouth bass. The lake has a yearly stocking of channel catfish every summer. Record sizes of catfish have been reported weighing in at 28+ lbs. Laguna Niguel Lake also has had record size bluegill at 2.5 lbs caught and record size crappie weighing in at 3 lbs. This is a great time of year to bring the little ones fishing.
Laguna Niguel Lake is also known for its awesome largemouth bass fishery. Florida & Northern strain bass up to 15 lbs in size have been growing & spawning in our 44 acre lake for more than 12 years. An additional 2300 adult largemouth bass were stocked summer of 2003. Bass fishing is excellent during the summer.
